After completing the "Two Factor Authentication" steps in Secure Your CARES Account, every so often you will receive and enter a code sent to your mobile phone via text (including when you use a new device or clear your cache). This makes your account much more secure--thank you!
You can update your phone number by navigating to User Settings > General Settings at any timeāif your mobile number changes, be sure to do this (and Save your update) as soon as possible before the next verification code is needed. If you are prevented from logging into CARES because you received a text code at the old number before you were able to update this setting yourself (and you do not have access to the old number), please contact OCR.
Remember you also need to complete an OCR Change Request form if this phone number is also used for OCR correspondence or appointment lists.
