You may see a red icon next to any appointment in your Cases > My Appointments screen as detailed below. Reminder icons are visual aids to assist you in managing your appointments. You can hover over any of the red icons in Cases > My Appointments for a pop-up text tip telling you what the icon means.
Nearing Maximum Billing Allocation
This icon is a warning that the appointment is nearing its maximum billing allocation and may need a request for additional funding soon. Hover over the icon to see the explanation, "Check max allocation." Click on the blue case number to access the appointment, and use its Financial Profile tab to investigate and take action if you will need more funding. You will also see red text on the appointment itself: "Check maximum billing allocation." More on additional funding
Pending Request for Access
This icon is a reminder that someone outside your office has requested access to your appointment in CARES (i.e., as a Case Consultant, Mentor, or another attorney providing litigation support). They may not take their next steps until you make a decision, and this icon is a reminder that your decision is pending. Hover over the icon to see the explanation, "Pending request for access." Click directly on this icon to jump to the pending request. You will also see red text on the appointment itself: "Check requests for access tab." More on responding to requests for access
Bookmarked
This icon means you have "bookmarked" this appointment. Hover over the icon to see the reminder, "Bookmarked." Bookmarks are simply for organizing your own My Appointments list, and you can add or remove bookmarks any time. More on using bookmarks
